This Privacy Policy explains how The Sewing Stylist ("we", "us") — an individual based in Portugal who operates Color Styling Studio at thesewingstylist.com (the "Tool") — handles information. We are the data controller. For any privacy question, contact privacy@thesewingstylist.com.
The short version
Color Styling Studio runs entirely in your web browser. There are no user accounts, and we do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to our servers — the Tool has no server that receives it. Your images and your work stay on your own device.
What the Tool does on your device
- Images you upload (fabric prints, sketches) are read inside your browser to pick out their colours. They are never uploaded to us or anyone else, and they are discarded when you close or reload the page.
- Your session (your chosen colour, scheme, palette, and skin/hair selections) is saved in your browser's local storage, on your own device, so your work survives a reload. We cannot see it. You can erase it any time by clearing your browser's site data.
- Images you download are created in your browser and saved by you. We never receive a copy.
Cookies & analytics
The Tool sets no tracking cookies and uses no analytics. It uses your browser's local storage only to remember your work — see the Cookie Policy.
Third-party services
To display its fonts, the Tool loads Google Fonts from Google's servers. When your browser fetches a font, Google may receive your IP address; see Google's Privacy Policy. We use no other third-party services that receive your data.
Your rights (GDPR)
Under the EU GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to its processing. Because we hold no personal data about you on any server, there is in practice nothing for us to retrieve or erase — your data lives only on your device and stays under your control. If you have any concern, contact privacy@thesewingstylist.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD (cnpd.pt).
Children
The Tool is not directed at children under 16 and does not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version.
